Our P4s had a very interesting visit today…

Thank you Stephanie for popping in to see us today!  Stephanie is a 2014 Commonwealth Champion and we had lots of questions for the Judo Silver Medallist.  We used our motto ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’ to create some thought provoking questions.

CROWN PRIMARY SCHOOL

What a phenomenal time we had today at the McRobert Cup Cross Country Competition! ALL of the children excelled themselves and brought their best attitudes and sporting skills to this event and we returned to school feeling great (if a little heavier with the medals and trophies they won!).

The results:

  • P2&3 boys – FIRST place
  • P2&3 girls – FIRST place
  • P4&5 boys SECOND place
  • P4&5 girls ran extremely well but didn’t manage to place in the top three although as individuals they did really well and did themselves proud!
  • P6&7 boys – FIRST place
  • P6&7 girls – FIRST place

Change of Date

Please take note – the date of our next open afternoon has changed!

CROWN PRIMARY SCHOOL

Due to events outwith our control we need to change the date of Open Afternoon.  This will NOT be taking place on Friday 27th March but instead you are invited to your child’s class on Tuesday 31st March at 2pm.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and do hope many of you will still be able to join us on this new date.

A pathway to where?

pathway

Here is the image from the writing activity in our home learning this week. When planning our writing we are thinking about these key questions:
Where is this?
Where does it go to?
How would you feel travelling along here alone?
What would you be travelling in?
How will your journey end?

I am looking forward to reading your stories! 🙂
